Between Two Worlds
When I was a child, I grew up in a family that was not wealthy. At that time, I did not even have toys. Yet, as long as I sat in a cherry tree, eating half-ripe cherries, I felt truly happy. I am grateful to heaven that today I live in one of the richest countries in the world. But when I see twelve-year-old children holding a smartphone and still being unhappy, I often ask myself: have I remained in the past, or am I living in a parallel universe?
